Simulated Steel Line

Like Steel. Unlike Anything Else.

Western Window Systems’ Simulated Steel Line, part of the performance line, was built with a single purpose: to enable professionals to incorporate the look of steel moving glass doors and windows into their most demanding projects without constraint. It’s designed and engineered for large panel sizes and exceptional performance and presents virtually unlimited possibilities for customization. The results are aluminum moving glass doors and windows that combine the look of real steel with the superior performance of aluminum, bringing a new level of efficiency to every project.

A Whole New Take on Steel Doors and Windows

Designed around narrow sightlines, beveled glass stops, and coped muntin bars, Western Window Systems Simulated Steel Line replicates the steel profiles used in historic buildings and universities. The .875″ simulated divided lites (SDLs) emulate a steel putty glaze.

Superior Performance

Built with a signature aluminum extrusion design, across-the-board low U-value ratings, and low-E, argon-filled dual-pane glass, Western Window Systems’ Simulated Steel Line is all about reducing energy consumption. A proprietary profile assists in increased thermal performance and strength.

Faster, Easier, and More Affordable

Unlike steel products that can cost double the price of aluminum, require field glazing, and include lengthy lead times, the Simulated Steel Line of moving glass walls and windows is all about inspiration, efficiency, and value. And because they easily integrate, you get a unified look and near-limitless customization and expansion options.
