It’s not easy to step into unfamiliar territory and accept new challenges, but when you do, it often comes with rewards.
Take Roman Sweeney, a S.W.A.T. (Special Western Action Team) member on the day shift. This team is known for tackling the unexpected, and Roman is uniquely qualified to do just that.
“Roman is one to put himself out there to learn a new position or bounce ideas off management to improve flow to the department,” says manager Jason Wengert. “He improves our averages and adds value to the team.”
Roman, who started with the company in January 2015, is known for believing in Western Window Systems’ products, striving to place quality above all.
“His first thought is, ‘What will the customer think?’” says Wengert.
Whether it’s through longer hours, cross-training, or asking advice on how to approach any given task, Roman consistently strives to be the best in any area he’s placed.
“Whatever the daily averages are, he sets goals to improve them,” Wengert says. “But he never puts quantity above quality!”
Congratulations to Roman Sweeney, Western Window Systems’ day shift shop employee of the month for March.
