Here Are Two Instances When Extra Freight Charges May Apply to Your Quote
Jul 11, 2018

At Western Window Systems, we’re always looking for great ideas and best practices to improve your shipping experience. For common carrier deliveries, understanding when additional freight charges may apply is crucial to the correctness of your quotes.

Below are two instances when extra freight charges may apply. To ensure your quote is as accurate as possible, please contact your inside sales representative prior to sharing with your customer.

  1. Multiple Units
When a quote covers multiple units, an additional trailer may be necessary. If so, extra freight charges may apply.
  2. Product Lead Times
Doors and windows from our classic line have different lead times than those from our performance line. If your quote contains products from both and you wish to split your quote into multiple shipments, extra freight charges may apply.
