Shop Employee of the Month (Night Shift) – June 2017
Jun 17, 2017

Victor Soto

With any job, there’s the stated method to perform a given task and then there is the secret set of skills acquired only through experience and trial and error.

Multi-slide panel assembler Victor Soto has got the knack for the job, and he doesn’t mind imparting some knowledge when it benefits the whole team.

“Victor is excited to teach the little tricks to help co-workers to reach goals and strengthen capabilities,” says multi-slide panels manager Jason Wengert.

Victor, who started with Western Window Systems in July 2015, also feels totally comfortable taking on a leadership role, even when that kind of responsibility isn’t asked of him.

“He stays calm, cool, and collected and always figures out a way to resolve any issue,” Wengert says. “When an issue can’t be resolved right away, he will stage to the side and communicate to management in order to keep production flowing.”

As productive and efficient as Victor is, it’s really his personal skills that make him such an invaluable employee, one who makes everyone do their jobs better.

Wengert proudly puts it best: “The panel department, night shift, and myself would not be so awesome without Victor’s help guiding the team, training, and motivating through his charismatic nature.”

Congratulations to Victor Soto, Western Window Systems’ night shop employee of the month for June.
