With the launch of simulated steel, the line needed an online presence as splashy as the products themselves. Thanks to the efforts of web developer Jen Davenport, it was mission accomplished.
“When tasked with creating the effect of animation, Jen looked into many different programs and tried to learn how she might be able to achieve that herself,” say her co-workers on the marketing team. “Ultimately, she collaborated with one of the designers to come up with a great solution, which allows the pages to look like they’re always changing.”
When it comes to the company’s website, Jen, who started with the company in May 2016, recognizes that user experience is everything, and she has worked tirelessly to make web-related processes easier and more fluid both for people inside the company and customers.
The same goes for the Western Window Systems email newsletters sent out every month.
“The emails are always outperforming the industry benchmarks,” her teammates say. “Her recommendations on how our emails should look and feel and when they should deploy to achieve the best results really help set us apart from the rest.”
And in the company’s core value of partnership, Jen is recognized as the “mama bear” of the group, welcoming new team members, engaging with everybody, even baking cupcakes for the team on a regular basis.
Says the team: “Jen is the best partner anyone could have. She is always caring, willing to help, and she consistently brings people together.”
Congratulations to Jen Davenport, Western Window Systems’ office employee of the month for November.
