For the third year in a row, Western Window Systems’ presence will be felt at Dwell on Design, the annual celebration billed as “America’s Largest Design Event,” put on by architecture/design magazine Dwell June 23 to 25 in Los Angeles.
This year, Western Window Systems’ moving glass walls and windows will appear in the Annata Home, from Seattle-based prefab homebuilder Method Homes. Available in two- and three-module versions, the Annata is designed with indoor-outdoor living as a focus. The designer is Seattle-based Chris Pardo Design: Elemental Architecture.
The Western Window Systems products installed in the prefab home will be highlighted by a large Series 600 Multi-Slide Door. An exterior door and various sizes, shapes, and styles of fixed and operable windows also are included.
After its appearance at Dwell on Design, the prefab home will be moved up the coast to Santa Rosa, north of San Francisco, where it will serve as a vacation rental property, says Brian Abramson of Method.
