Nov 02, 2018

Engineering News-Record, the “bible of the construction industry,” has awarded Western Window Systems with a “Best Projects Award of Merit” in the manufacturing category in the weekly magazine’s Southwest region.

Recognized for its new headquarters, which opened last year, Western Window Systems joins Arizona State University (Owner of the Year), DWL Architects + Planners (Design Firm of the Year), Jokake Construction (Contractor of the Year), and Buesing Corp (Specialty Contractor of the Year) as 2018 honorees.

According to ENR, a Best Projects Award is considered one of commercial construction’s most prestigious and coveted honors, an opportunity to celebrate and honor the building teams who created the best projects nationwide. The Best Projects Award, and each of the 20 categories, was selected by a jury of prominent industry professionals.

“Our new headquarters was a highly collaborative project. I’m proud of our internal team at Western Window Systems as well as the design and building teams, consultants, and trade partners for their hard work and efforts,” says president Scott Gates. “We couldn’t be more thrilled with our new home.”

A regional awards ceremony will be held November 12 in downtown Phoenix.
