Three Western Window Systems executives have been named to the Sun Devil 100, a select group of entrepreneurs and business leaders recognized by Arizona State University’s Alumni Association for their achievements.
President and chief executive officer Scott Gates, also an honoree in 2015, is joined this year by Western Window Systems chief financial officer Heather Zorge and chief information officer John Engelstad, each of whom holds a degree from Arizona State University.
The trio will be recognized with other successful ASU alumni at a reception on the Tempe campus on Tuesday, April 25.
Each year, the ASU Alumni Association selects organizations from around the world that demonstrate innovation, growth, and entrepreneurial spirit. At the reception, Gates, Zorge, and Engelstad will have the opportunity to connect with other Sun Devil 100 honorees, meet with ASU leaders and deans, and interact with aspiring student entrepreneurs.
Gates, who joined Western Window Systems in 2011, holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from ASU and earned an MBA from ASU in May 2015. Zorge joined Western Window Systems in 2016 and earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from ASU. Engelstad, a Western Window Systems executive since 2015, holds a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from California Lutheran University and received his MBA from ASU.
