Western Window Systems received praise from Australian firm Anthony Innovations after that company recently won a Global Innovations Award from the National Association of Home Builders.

Based in Victoria, Australia, the company is the creator and manufacturer of the Quad-Zilla door roller. Capable of handling extreme panel sizes and heavy glass types, the Quad-Zilla Roller is offered as an option for Western Window Systems’ new Series 7600 Multi-Slide Door and Series 7650 Sliding Glass Door.

“We have worked closely with Western Window Systems, a valued OEM partner, to design and develop the Quad-Zilla door roller,” says David King, export manager of Anthony Innovations. “And 2018 will hold further collaborations with window and door manufacturers and more advancements for the American and international markets.”

NAHB’s Global Innovation Awards recognize cutting-edge products and marketing approaches based on their innovation, functionality, good design, user experience, sustainability, and uniqueness.

Anthony Innovations and Western Window Systems have worked together for several years.

“Their high-quality hardware items and great service and support set them apart from others in this industry,” says Cameron Wyatt, vice president of manufacturing and supply chain at Western Window Systems. “The Series 7600 needed to be strong because we wanted to offer extremely large sizes. The Quad-Zilla was a perfect match because its load ratings and roller performance allowed for our massive panels to move with ease. And the low profile of the Quad-Zilla allows the bottom rail to be narrow, and that’s great for sightlines and energy ratings.”
