Micky's Bar
West Hollywood - California

Architecture firm Dean Larkin Design draws some of the finest commercial and residential properties in Southern California. Western was thrilled to collaborate with him on this project, Micky’s Bar, in West Hollywood, California. Dean specified a Western 600 Series Multi-Slide Pocket Door that would open up the entire bar to the outside. On days when the weather is nice, they wanted to be able to utilize a truly open environment. Western also provided a 600 Series Multi-Slide Pocket Window on an exterior bar top that also disappeared into the wall when the bar owners want to really open things to the outside.

 

Stingray Sushi
Phoenix - Arizona

Located in the Biltmore, Stingray Sushi is famous for its world class cuisine and also its 12’ tall doors. Western provided several 9500 Series Bi-Fold Doors to open the entire walls of the restaurant. Seamlessly blending outdoor and indoor dining, this is a prime example of how Western works great on commercial projects.

 

 

Braza Dancante
Allen - Texas

Famous for its delicious Brazilian cuisine and popular local music featured nightly in their lounge, Braza Dancante has become a destination restaurant for many Texans. Western was thrilled to be specified on such a high quality restaurant. Their designer specified several Western 600 Series Multi-Slides to open up the restaurant to the exterior. He wanted the restaurant to feel open-air and inviting so customers could enjoy beautiful weather.

 

 

Citizen Public House
Scottsdale - Arizona

A contemporary, upscale version of the traditional public house nestled in Old Town Scottsdale, the Citizen Public House serves exceptional food and provocative drinks. Essential to their design was creating use of an intimate patio area. The designers wanted to open the whole restaurant out to this patio, and chose to use Western’s 9500 Series Bi-Fold Door. Western’s doors slide and stack away for those evenings when the weather is perfect and everyone wants to sit outside.

 

Taco Diner
Dallas - Texas

The Taco Diner located in Dallas, Texas specializes in the bold flavors typically found in Mexico City taquerias. Fresh fish, salads, and classic tacos make this a perfect dining spot for lunch or dinner. Western was thrilled to provide a 9500 Series Bi-Fold door that opens up a wall of the restaurant to an outdoor patio. The restaurant management loves to open the door in the spring and fall when patrons love to dine on the patio.

 

 

McCormick & Schmicks Seafood
Houston - Texas

• Each McCormick & Schmicks restaurant is uniquely designed to create an inviting, original and relaxed atmosphere, where guests can enjoy the highest quality dining experience. World renowned seafood, steaks, pasta, and salads make McCormick & Schmicks a popular dining choice across the nation. At their Houston location, their design team utilized a Western 600 Series Multi-Slide door to open up the entire restaurant to the inviting patio on the exterior.

 

Bogey’s Steakhouse at Las Sendas
Mesa - Arizona

• Bogey’s is a five-star steakhouse renowned for its breathtaking views of the Valley of the Sun from the Viewpoint Patio. It makes the Las Sendas club an ideal setting for all personal events including weddings, birthday and anniversary celebrations, business conferences or virtually any special event. Las Sendas utilized a Western 9500 Series Bi-Fold Stacking door so they could open up the entire wall and create an indoor/outdoor environment that encourages patrons to come outside and enjoy the view. Be it a sunrise or city lights, Western Bi Fold Door perfectly captured their custom view.

Fresh Bite
Los Angeles - California

Located right off Sunset Blvd, Fresh Bits is famous for their fresh Italian bites, reasonably priced, and perfectly enjoyed in their eco-friendly space. Bamboo, modern lighting fixtures, earthy hues, and Western 9500 Series Bi-Fold doors painted red were all part of the grand design by owner Luca Giorgetti and architect Osvaldo Maiozzi. Enjoy a delicious sandwich, pizza, or pasta, and dine right next to a door that folds and stacks away to let in the beautiful weather of Southern California.

 

Zed’s Restaurant
Austin - Texas

Zed's is a modern, casual restaurant serving American fare with Austin-inspired preparations and ingredients. Set upon three acres that include spacious decks, a pond, hike and bike trail and indigenous landscaping, Zed's has created an oasis in the city. The design team utilized Western’s 600 Series Window Wall, and inserted a 900 Series Hinged Door to help ensure the sightlines stayed narrow. They also had selected a custom hardware, so Western’s prepped our doors to receive Von Duprin devices as well as our concealed overhead closure. For the patio and private dining room Western supplied our 9500 Series Bi-folding door system creating an indoor/outdoor environment perfect for outdoor dining when the weather is beautiful.
