This beautiful prefab home was designed and built by the celebrated firm Marmol Radziner Prefab. The bold lines and simple style make this a popular home amongst the design community, highlighted by the placement of the project on the cover of Dwell magazine's December 2011 Prefab Perfected issue. Western is privileged to be the exclusive window and door supplier on Marmol's prefab projects (this one being one of our favorites).

Often seen as the leaders in prefab construction, Marmol Radziner builds prefab homes that are truly remarkable to see. This multi-story prefab unit features Western's windows and sliding glass doors throughout the entire project. Western's narrow sightlines, contemporary feel and recyclable aluminum frames make our product a perfect fit with the desires of most prefab owners. 

This unique home was designed by talented architect Jonathan Davis as part of his pieceHomes prefab initiative. Jonathan worked with Zem Joaquin from Ecofabulous to design a small prefab project that was bold in design and renowned for energy efficiency and sustainability. Western is a proud partner of pieceHomes, and their use of our casements, awnings and sliding glass doors gave the home striking walls of glass. This home was featured at the 2011 Dwell on Design show.

Sometimes we get the pleasure of being involved in projects that leave us salivating over the beauty of their locations. This Marmol Radziner Prefab, which overlooks a beautiful winery in Napa Valley, is one such project. Rolling hills, beautiful trees and, of course, amazing architecture are a sight for any eye to see. Marmol's use of Western's 600 Series Window Wall and multi-slide doors let natural light our in and allow for maximization of a perfect view. 

This prefab project - located on a narrow, urban lot in Venice, California - looks inward, incorporating covered decks and a small courtyard space to give the structure a sense of privacy despite its location on an infill lot. The large expanses of glass on the southern side are comprised of Western Window Systems windows and doors, and they fill the home with natural light and connect the interior and exterior spaces.
