Private Residence
Las Vegas - Nevada

This customer chose WWS Dark Bronze Anodized finish for a short lead-time. Because of the complexity and size of this job the contractor was unable to frame the entire home before ordering his windows & doors. With WWS he was able to order & install the windows & doors as he completed the different phases of the build, in turn shorting his build time. WWS was able to fill the larger window wall openings utilizing the 600 series system, encasing steel in the extrusions to obtain the required wind load, as well as narrow sight lines. This home uses the 600 window wall, Multi-Slide doors, 700 series casement windows and 900 series Hinged doors.

Hualalai Resort
Big Island - Hawaii

On this project, Western provided the (600 series) 90degree zero post condition Multi-slide pocketing door system with full screens. This provides an ideal setting and maximizes the indoor/outdoor living environment.

Rose Street Lofts
Los Angeles - California

Western provided (600 series patio doors), (100 series sliding windows) and our (600 series window wall) which included 90 degree butt glaze IG units. Western provides a great deal of the multi-level modern urban infill projects due to our diverse product mix and customization abilities.

Lims & Wells Residence
San Diego - California

Architects Wan Su Lim and Matthew Wells of Hanna Gabriel Wells Architects utilized Westerns 600 series window wall with 90 degree butt glazing along with 700 series hinged windows and 900 series hinged doors in there personal home.

“Inspired by the Arts + Architecture Magazine’s Case Study House, this steel framed home is an exploration of structural simplicity and efficiency. Its unencumbered floors allow maximum flexibility for transparency and spatial definition. Seemingly harsh materials like metal. Concrete, masonry and glass are balanced with warmer materials of wood, stone and textiles resulting in a comfortable vessel for modern living."

Operation Desert Shed
Pioneertown - California

Architect Lloyd Russell designed this home to mitigate the harsh heat of the California desert. It was featured in Dwell Magazine’s July/August 2009 issue. It features Western’s 600 Series Multi-Slide Door System to help maximize the indoor/outdoor living element. This modern home also utilized Western’s 700 Series Awning Window to give the house additional ventilation. The project is located in Pioneertown, California.

Element Lofts
Marina Del Rey - California

Cuningham Group Architects designed these sustainable pre-cast concrete lofts in Marina del Rey, California. Western provided 600 Series Multi-Slide Doors as well as our 600 Series Window Wall with Casements and Awnings inserted into them. This combination gave the architect the clean, modern lines they were wanting to achieve for the project.

Lloyd & Associates Architects of Santa Fe
Santa Fe - New Mexico

For this project the Western Window Systems Series 900 Commercial Door with custom push/pull hardware was used as the entry doors. 600 Series Fixed Windows were used over the doors to accomplish the look the architect was trying to achieve. Western also supplied 600 Series Aluminum Window Wall with 700 Series Awning Windows inserted to provide the ventilation they desired. They chose a Western Designer Kynar Paint color, Cinnamon Toast, for the product and Western’s dual pane Lo-E glass.

Seamless living & ease of entertaining guests indoors and out. The Thin-line track Multi-Slide door & window almost completely disappears from sight when in the fully open position, making for the perfect bar window, as well as full size pocketing doors. Notice how the track blends in with the countertop.

Calvary Community Church
Peoria - Arizona

For this project the church wanted to enclose an area that was once an open patio. They selected Western’s 600 Series Window Wall in lieu of commercial storefront material so that they could accomplish the sightlines and the unique pattern they desired. Our engineering and sales team worked with the glazier and architect to create the desired pattern. We provided full shop drawings prior to fabrication so that all parties were confident that they would be getting what they had envisioned.

Taos - New Mexico

For this project the homeowner selected our 600 Series Fixed Window to capture the expansive views of their forest surroundings. Our 900 Series Residential Aluminum Swinging Door was used for all the egress doors. Western helped engineer the openings and fabricated the steel necessary and concealed it in the frame members. The owner selected Western Window’s Stock Bronze Anodized finish to take advantage of our quick lead-times.

Salter Residence
Las vegas - Nevada

The owner of this home is Rick Salter, who is also the owner of Custom Home Window & Door in Las Vegas. Rick chose WWS & built this home to showcase the Western product. He regularly uses his home as a full size showroom, bringing in customers, architects & builders to see, feel & operate the windows and doors in a real-life scenario. Both the 90 degree Multi-Slide pocketing doors and the in-line Multi-Slide pocketing doors are automated, making operation as simple as the push of a button. Rick chose the Thin-Line track for the Multi-Slides allowing the travertine to flow seamlessly from indoors to out. The entire home has been automated, allowing the homeowner the ability to adjust the temperature, open or close the blinds, turn lights on & off from anywhere in the world they have phone service. Along with the Multi-Slide doors, Rick included 700 series casements, 900 series hinged doors, and 600 series window wall. What a wonderful home for entertaining!

For this project Western Window Systems provided several 600 Series Sliding Patio Doors and Multislide Doors. The showpiece of the home is the 90 degree multislide with the full screen option that allows them to have a fully screened opening or glass opening depending on which panels they choose out of the hidden pocket. This door utilized our thin line sill which provides a hidden track that is flush with the top of the tile floor. This provides a smooth transition from inside to outside and allows the homeowner to open up the whole corner of their home. This homeowner selected Western’s Warmtone Kynar Paint for their product.

An Architect from Mexico City designed this modern contemporary residence using Western’s (600 Series) Window Wall System, (600 Series) Sliding Patio Doors and (700 Series) Large Casement/Awning. By using Western’s products the architect was able to maintain minimal sight lines to accomplish his architectural views.

On this project, Western provided a (600 Series) custom curved multi-slide pocketing door system. By working closely with the homeowner, architect and contractor Western was able to design and manufacture a custom door making everyone vision come to life.

On this project, Western provided (600 Series) multi-slide pocketing door systems and (600 Series) large fixed window openings. Since many manufactures can not build large openings and provide custom color, Western was a complement to the design of the project.

Sheraton Carlsbad Resort & Spa
Carlsbad - California

Western’s 600 Series Sliding Patio Door and 900 Series Aluminum Hinged Door was used for the rooms of this resort in Carlsbad, California. The architect also chose Western’s 600 Series Fixed Aluminum Window to mull to the hinged doors to be used as sidelites. A custom color, “Bright Copper” was selected by the owner to complement the exterior façade of the building. Western utilized their Phoenician applied muntin on the surface of the glass and their internal MDL bar inside the glass unit to create a true divided lite look.

Western provided the (700 series) awning windows in this retrofit application of a Midrise complex in Oahu. Also, Western provided custom frame openings to accommodate the A/C units.
