O Condition: Stationary window condition. (Ex: LOR Condition, the O is the center panel and it will be fixed)
|
L Condition: When viewed from the exterior the hinge is on the left side (casement).
|
R Condition: When viewed from the exterior the hinge is on the right side (casement).
|
B Condition: When viewed from the exterior the hinge is on the bottom (hopper).
|
|
T Condition: When viewed from the exterior the hinge is on the top (awning).
|
Fixed Window: Window that does not move and is stationary.
|
Casement Window: Window that hinges on the right or left side of the frame and projects out.
|
Hopper Window: Window that hinges on the bottom of the frame and projects in. |
|
Awning Window: Window that hinges on the top of the frame and projects out.
|
EQ (Equal Leg): Designates that the perimeter frame of this window does not include nail fins.
|
NO (Nail on Fin): Designates that the perimeter frame of this window has a nail fin. A nail fin is an extrusion that is held back 1” from the perimeter frame and is used to attach the window the exterior wall.
|
Jamb: Vertical end member of a window frame.
|
